"And above all, watch with glittering eyes the whole world around you, because the greatest secrets are always hidden in the most unlikely places. Those who don't believe in magic will never find it"—Roald Dahl

Oh Roald, how you have a way with words. I rediscovered this beautiful quote whilst scrolling down Pinterest over the last month, and it struck a cord with my heart. It's a self-fulfilling prophecy—view the world through a negative pair of goggles, and you will void your life of all magical enchantment. This is something that I definitely used to struggle with, and I still do to some extent. When everything is going wrong and it all feels a bit too much, it's easy to slip into the mind-set that the world is a cruel, horrible place. I advise you to tread carefully to not fall into this trap, as it's a long and difficult road back home.

Ever heard the phrase 'nothing's impossible'? Although this is philosophically incorrect, it is a wonderful outlook to have on life. To view everything as a wonderment makes life so much more enjoyable. Striving for your goals becomes that little bit more achievable by believing that there is nothing in your way. If you believe that you will succeed, then you most likely will! Negativity and pessimism definitely come at a cost, stripping you of the opportunities that you are so desperately reaching towards. You want something? Go and get it! Stop listing all of the reasons why you can't or shouldn't—stand up and claim what is rightfully yours. Look at the world around you and believe in the magic that it is overflowing with. It's yours for the taking!

I haven't written anything truly from the heart like this in such a long time, so this post was way overdue! How do you view the world? Do you believe in magic or are you a bit less optimistic? Leave your thoughts below!
